Punta Cana enjoys a privileged year round tropical maritime weather with little seasonal temperature variation. There is not a real rainy season. It can rain any time but usually for a very short time (10 – 15 minutes) and often during the night.

Arrival & Departure Taxes: All travelers have to pay $10 USD when entering the country to obtain the obligatory tourist card. Each person is also required to pay a further tax of $20 USD on departure. These taxes have to be paid in USD cash only.
